Trail Conditions
This update:  March 19
Wellston is seeing temps
nearing 40, 20's at night.  No major snow in the forecast. Trails are icy, slushy during the day and refreezing at night.  Getting to and from the trails, restaurants and gas stations will be very tough.  Side roads are mud. I think this is it for the season.  It has been one of the best in a long time!

A special thank-you to all the Wellston groomer drivers that keep our trail system the best it can be.  Also thank you to Shane at Wellston Lube for keeping our tires repaired.  And thank you to Andy at Silverline welding for keeping our drags together!!
Thank you very much, all of you!!

It's spring steelhead fishing time! The robins are back and it won't be long before someone will be in showing off their first morel mushroom of the season!  Where did the winter go?
Hope to see you on the river!

Thank you all very much for riding our trails and supporting our businesses this winter!

Wellston grooms approximately 64 miles of trails with two John Deere tractors and drags.  Many volunteer hours go into making our trails the best with what we are given.
Our new page, Where are the Groomers? will let you know where the groomers are and what has been groomed.
We pride ourselves in giving you the most accurate trail report that we can.  We offer a local telephone number that you may call anytime for a recording of trail conditions.
231-848-4980  We update our trail line and this web page as conditions change.
Be safe and courteous to others on the trail and thank you for riding the Wellston Trail System.
